Biography:
DJFear aka Chris Sumner started dj'ing a while back age 15 when he was influenced from his older brothers rave tapes from underground promotions such as perception/mytholigy/and then later on fantazia dreamscape and helter skelter, As he saw the rave scene grow into something special he also noticed how the music styles split into a few different genres. DJ Fear soon picked up on the happier side of the rave scene and began to follow the uplifting but still driving sounds of the hardcore scene, It was not long untill he was hooked on the hard four beat with uplifting breakdowns, Back then it was more samples of older tunes mixed with piano and breakbeats. Not like the new prefered sound of lush pads and huge strigs hard beats and bass that give the new euphoric sound but not forgeting the original idea...rave music! Chris/ DJFear went from strenth to strength with bookings from a young age at local youth club raves to present day promotions now such as Fruit Club/Terminal/Wildchild/Rave By the Sea Weekender/WhosHardcore/ Square one/Energycore etc.. Again as the scene grows stronger DJFear will continue to add more tunes/projects to help keep it all to stay new and fresh! |
